At Jenhams Clinic in Dorking, Surrey, we offer a medically supervised weight loss service led by experienced clinicians. Following a personalised assessment, and where clinically appropriate, your treatment may be a once-weekly injection or a once-daily tablet consisting of a GLP-1 medication. We see patients in person at our Surrey clinic, and for those who live further away we also provide remote video consultations elsewhere in the UK, where this is safe and suitable.
Our service is designed to provide comprehensive support beyond medication alone. At your consultation we’ll discuss your treatment options, including whether an injection or a tablet is more suitable for you. If you’re prescribed an injection and attend in person, we can show you how to use it and, where clinically appropriate, supply your first month the same day. For video appointments, or for tablet treatment, we can arrange delivery within 24 to 48 hours.
Weight loss medication now comes in two forms: a weekly injection or a daily tablet. All four options below work in a similar way, by reducing appetite and slowing digestion, but they differ in how you take them and how much weight loss you can expect. Your clinician will help you choose at your consultation.
The most effective option currently available. Works on two gut hormone receptors rather than one, which is what drives the stronger results.
The established weekly injection, with a long track record and strong results. Often the lower-cost injectable starting point.
The most flexible option. No fasting, no water limit and no waiting, so it can be taken at any time of day with or without food.
The more effective of the two tablets, but stricter to take: on an empty stomach with a sip of water, then a 30-minute wait before eating or drinking.

We currently prescribe GLP-1 medications, including once-weekly injections such as Wegovy (semaglutide) and Mounjaro (tirzepatide), and once-daily tablets including Foundayo (orforglipron) and the Wegovy pill (oral semaglutide), where clinically appropriate and in line with the latest MHRA and NICE guidance.
Our clinic is based in Dorking, Surrey, making us easy to reach from Reigate, Leatherhead, Guildford, Epsom and the wider Surrey area.
If you’re not local, we can often provide video consultations for patients elsewhere in the UK. This allows you to access medical weight loss support without needing to travel, while still benefiting from a clinician-led service, clear treatment plans and ongoing follow-up.
During your initial assessment, we’ll confirm whether in-person visits, remote consultations, or a combination of both is the safest and most appropriate option for you.
If you are already established on treatment with us and your next month is due, you can request it online. Complete the short form and one of our clinicians will review your request, usually within one working day. If everything is straightforward we will text you a payment link and arrange delivery to your home.
Requesting online does not replace seeing us. You are welcome to come into the clinic as often as you need, and we would always rather see you than have you wait.
