Available to anyone aged 12 and over. No eligibility criteria, no referral, no waiting list.

Protection, whether or not the NHS will give it to you

NHS COVID-19 vaccination is now restricted to a small number of eligible groups. If you fall outside those groups but still want the protection, you can have it here.

We vaccinate anyone aged 12 and over who asks for it. People travelling. People caring for elderly or unwell relatives. People who cannot afford to lose a fortnight to illness, or who would rather not pass it on to someone who cannot. And people who simply prefer to stay covered. You do not need to explain your reasons to us.

£102 per dose See our pricing page for full details.

Aged 12 and over

We vaccinate from age 12. Anyone under 18 needs to attend with a parent or guardian who can give consent.

Booked or walk in

Book online for a guaranteed slot, or walk in during clinic hours and we will fit you in where we can.

Nurse led, GP overseen

Given by one of our experienced practice nurses with GP clinical oversight. Allow around 15 minutes, including a short observation period afterwards.

About the vaccine

We use Comirnaty (Pfizer/BioNTech), an mRNA vaccine licensed in the UK for use from 12 years of age. It is given as a single injection into the upper arm.

Most people have no side effects beyond a sore arm. Some feel tired, achy or headachey, or run a mild temperature, for a day or two afterwards. Serious reactions are rare. Our nurse will talk you through what to expect before you are vaccinated and will ask you to stay in the clinic for a short period afterwards.

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, immunosuppressed, or have had a serious reaction to a previous vaccine, please tell us when you book so the right advice can be given before you attend.

Vaccinating a family, a team or a workplace

If you want to vaccinate a household, a small team or a whole workforce, we can arrange a block of appointments at a time that suits you, including outside our standard clinic hours where numbers justify it.

Email info@jenhamsclinic.co.uk or call 01306 884444 and we will put something together. You can also read more about our corporate services.

Common questions

Do I need to be eligible on the NHS to have this?
No. We vaccinate anyone aged 12 and over who wants it, regardless of NHS eligibility.
How soon after my last COVID-19 vaccination can I have another?
As a general rule we would want at least three months since your last dose. If you are unsure, tell us when you book and our nurse will advise.
Can I have it at the same time as my flu jab?
Yes. Both can be given at the same appointment, one in each arm. Mention it when you book and we will allow the time.
Do you vaccinate children under 12?
Not at present. The vaccine we use is licensed from 12 years of age.
Do I need an appointment?
No, but booking is safer. Walk in availability depends on how busy the clinic is on the day.
How much does it cost?
£102 per dose. Full details are on our pricing page.
